Help Makayla Rebuild After Fire Loss

All of us in the LA area likely know someone who has been directly impacted and suffered substantial loss by the catastrophic wildfires. My close cousin Makayla Scott has called Malibu home for the last 7 years of her life, and on Tuesday, January 7th she had to evacuate for the second time in one month due to fire risk, but unfortunately this time her home, her neighborhood, and her possessions did not make it.

Makayla is the kindest soul who has accomplished so much on her own and watched it all go up in flames overnight. She works locally in Malibu as well, and we are uncertain how these fires will affect her livelihood. As she processes the aftermath of this devastating loss and slowly begins to rebuild, I hope to ease her financial burden ever so slightly in finding a new place to live and replacing essential household and personal items. Anything helps.
