Help make face masks-Healthcare workers need help!
Both A.I Dupont hospital and CHOP and many other local facilities, such as, foster homes and nursing homes, have reached out to us here at Love to Sew Studio and they are in need of our help! They are both in desperate need of face masks, gowns, and scrub hats due to the shortage that the COVID-19 has caused. So, we are taking on the challenge of making hundreds and hundreds of face masks for them ASAP!
We are asking for your help! If you are able, please consider donating money for the many sewing supplies (fabric, thread, needles, elastic, etc) it will take to complete this large project.
If you are unable to donate money, please consider donating COTTON fabric, or even helping sew the masks!
Cotton fabric donation boxes (only for fabric donations) can be found outside the front door of the following 4 locations:
*Love to Sew Studio: 23 West Pennsbury Way, Chadds Ford, PA 19317
*Street Lamp Community Theatre: 5 Valley View Drive Rising Sun MD 21911
You can contact me through GoFundMe for Drop off locations in Oxford, West Grove & Swarthmore!
If you would like to help make things please contact me through GoFundME and we can give you further instructions on how to do that (THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!)
Thank you for any and all help! Whether you are able to donate money, fabric, or your time and sewing skills to help create these masks, just know that you are SO appreciated and the healthcare workers who are risking their health to keep us safe will be so thankful for this too!
**Any donation money not used (if any) for fabric and supplies will be donated to the hospitals and facilities we are creating these masks for!
***As more people volunteer to sew and we received more fabric we will evaluate more locations that are in need of masks!
