9 years after being kidnapped by terrorist group called Boko Haram, Joy has escaped the persecution of women and Christians in the Northern Nigeria. She has bravely escaped by jumping out of a moving truck. She has graduated High School in Oregon. Completed her bachelor and master’s degrees at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. She has met President Donald Trump, appeared in People magazine, Good Morning America, and spoken at the United Nations.

As of yet, she has not been granted permission to stay here in the US. She needs asylum to be able to stay and work in the United States. Please, help Joy do the one thing that matters to her most which is to get her Asylum to work and live in the United States. The next process after the Asylum is for her to get “Green Card” then citizenship.

She doesn't want to ask anyone for so much money. So I'm asking on her behalf.

We've got a local, experienced lawyer who thinks she has a terrific chance of being granted asylum and US residency. Once accepted she will be able to start working.
