THE FUNDRAISING EVENT

This fundraiser has been organised by Emily Brown - the Information & Advice Manager at Age UK Lindsey. Emily & a small team of Age UK Lindsey staff, volunteers & supporters will be participating in The 2023 Lincoln Santa Fun Run & Walk on Sunday 17th December to raise much needed funds for the Charity. You are welcome to join in & participate in the event itself (contact Emily for further details) or support the team by sponsoring them here - every contribution matters & Age UK Lindsey thanks you in advance for your support.

HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED

Established in 1991, Age UK Lindsey is an independent charity based in Horncastle who promote & improve the wellbeing of local, older people living in the council districts of East Lindsey, West Lindsey & North Lincolnshire. They help make later life a fulfilling & enjoyable experience by tackling loneliness, isolation & poverty. Age UK Lindsey is supported by 45 staff members & 180 volunteers who work tirelessly to deliver vital services in: Befriending & Friendship Groups, Digital Support, Fraud & Scams Prevention, Information, Signposting & quality-assured Social Welfare Advice, Safe & Warm Homes Checks, Home Help & Lifestyle Support. They are completely reliant on donations, fundraising, grants, legacies & income from their Charity Shops, so that they can continue serving the community - all money raised is spent locally for the benefit of older people, their families & carers.
