We want to shoot a bold, inspiring, hilariously healing short film called, "WHITE TEARS", and we want you along for the ride! Will you help us reach our financial goal RIGHT NOW?
WHITE TEARS is a tragic yet triumphant comedy that will take you into a world of a seemingly harmless relationship that puts it's protagonist at a bizarre crossroads that might decide the fate of world in regards to black joy and black excellence.
By supporting this project with any dollar amount that works for you, you're supporting independent, irreverent, and original black visual storytelling with something to say in a medium of art needing more representation that voices brilliant takes on the human condition and society that ignite conversations that will last and create another avenue for deep reflection and change in the world.
MAKING A MOVIE (yes, even in the digital age) IS EXPENSIVE!
Always striving for quality, excellence, and professionalism, we need to manage even the most meager of budgets to present something audiences will love and that we can be proud of. CAN YOU DONATE TODAY to this unbelievable dark comedy that will leave you pondering for days?
The funds we raise here will cover some necessary costs like pre production, principal production over the course of 3 days, wherein a small amazing team of performers and crew members will be paid for their hard work and let's not forget fed while on the set; set design; post production, and hopefully some marketing and film festival submission fees.
IT'S IMPORTANT THAT WE SHOW UP FOR EACH OTHER'S DREAMS, so can you throw us some dollars if you believe in lifting up independent black art and being in this together?
IT'S ALSO CRUCIAL THAT YOU SHARE THIS GOFUNDME PAGE to help us reach our goal. WE CAN DO THIS!
****Anyone who gives to this campaign will be invited along with a +1 to a private screening of the film after its completion.
Thank you for reading and believing!
