Hello everyone! My name is Zyan Wiggins, and I'm currently a Junior at Marathon High School. I have some incredibly exciting news to share with you all – I've been selected as a recipient of the Take Stock in Children scholarship program! This amazing opportunity allows me to study abroad in Japan for three weeks this summer, fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine.

Growing up in Marathon, Florida, I've always had a passion for exploring new cultures and immersing myself in different experiences. The chance to travel to Japan and delve into its rich history, vibrant traditions, and cutting-edge technology is truly a dream come true for me. However, as much as I'm overjoyed by this opportunity, I face a financial challenge. I work, and I’m saving very diligently but I live with my grandmother, who unfortunately cannot afford to assist me with the expenses associated with domestic travel and the additional funds needed to fully embrace all that Japan has to offer in terms of cultural experiences and tourist activities.

That's why I'm turning to my family, friends, and community for support. I'm humbly asking for your help to make this once-in-a-lifetime trip a reality for me.
