Help Malibu Village Families Rise from Ashes

On January 8, 2025, the Palisades fire devastated our beloved Malibu Village, nestled in the hills along the Pacific Coast Highway. Nearly all of the 29 homes were completely destroyed, and some of you may have witnessed the heartbreaking footage broadcasted live.

My name is Jem Cohen. I am now a former resident of Malibu Village, and I have been entrusted by the Malibu Village community to distribute the funds equally amongst the neighbors who lost everything in the fire. All funds raised will be distributed equally among the current residents, helping them begin to rebuild their lives from scratch.

The destruction is beyond anything we could have imagined. Fireproof safes melted, and nothing of our homes or belongings survived the blaze. While we are deeply grateful that no lives were lost, the loss of our cherished memories, family heirlooms, vehicles, and possessions has left us all reeling.
