Help Mama Nit Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Håfa Adai, friends and family, two years ago my mom fell with a mild stroke and was undiagnosed for the time being. It was a very difficult time because of all the health transitions that were going on with her and her condition kept declining, however we were all left very clueless as to what was going on with her. Because of the stroke, my mom had to close her beloved restaurant down, the place that started many friendships along with full and happy bellies and many smiles. As of September this year, we finally got the dreadful answer to our questions about her health; she was diagnosed with stage 3 multiple myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow. Although this was not the answer we wanted to hear, the family and I are at least grateful to have an answer as to how we can navigate through bringing our mama Nit back to health. For everyone that knows mama Nit, you will know that she’s a very hard worker; she worked 14 hours at the least at her restaurant to be able to support her children in their endeavors and doing it all herself for the most part to maintain consistency, quality, and love in the food that she made for her guests. She always greeted everyone with a smile, and spent a lot of time talking to people, hearing them out, and enjoying their updates on their lives. She always made a friendship wherever she went. She has three daughters, but somehow adopted many other kids along the way through another job she worked. After her stroke, she did not stop in trying to fight for her health. She gardened, walked, and kept cooking to be able to bring herself back to a better condition, and even with cancer, mama Nit is not giving up any fights whatsoever. She has always been a fighter and still manages to be a great support to her family and friends in the way that she can. With that being said, there is a lot of financial hardship with her disease, and the family is kindly asking that you share and or donate to our gofundme so we can be able to provide for mama Nit in everything that she needs to beat cancer. Si Yu’us ma’åse, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
