A Fundraiser for Momma McKenzie
Donation protected
Our mom is fighting a tough battle and we are asking for help. She has an inoperable stage four accinic cell carcinoma, a serious and rare type of cancer that has caused a tumor in her head. She is undergoing radiation treatment for six weeks at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She is only 60 and was still working as Director at the National Association of Mental Illness (N.A.M.I.) when she was diagnosed. Since her employer is a non-profit, she buys private health insurance that only covers a fraction of the treatment cost. To help her out we are hosting a night of music from 5 - 8pm on Sunday, May 26, in Portland at the Montavilla Station. There will be several musical acts, silent auction, free food, and general merriment for all. Please join us at the event or donate online if you can. Hugs and good thoughts/vibes are welcome too!
