Help Mamu secure a Global Talent Visa

Hi! my name is Unu Mamu, I'm a visual artist/photographer from Nigeria. I've been passionately pursuing my craft and exploring various themes of identity, relationships and cultural investigations through my photographs.

I was shortlisted for the Portrait of Britain award 2023 organised by the British Journal of Photography

and I've exhibited my work in various spaces accross the UK and Nigeria with two of my images are currently showing at the New Art Exchange in Nottingham till 21st September.

I’m seeking your support to raise funds for the Global Talent Visa, which will allow me to continue my artistic journey in the UK. The costs are significant with the Health Insurance costing about £5300 for 5 years and the Visa fees of £280. So far I've raised around £2000 and I'm still organising a print and postcard sale in hopes of raising more money for the visa.
