Amid the harsh economic conditions and the siege within Gaza, there was a glimmer of hope. I am Karam's father. I got married two years ago after a beautiful love story that ended in marriage. Eight months before the war, Karam was born, becoming the first light in our lives. As he began to utter his first words, "Mama" and "Papa," the war erupted, and fear took hold of our hearts. But soon, we found ourselves forced to flee.

My heart is broken. The place that held the first memories of our marriage, the place where Karam came into this world and spoke his first words, is now nothing but ashes on the ground!

The Pain of Karam and His Desperate Needs

The frequent nearby attacks and the extremely loud sounds of missiles have become a constant fear for Karam. He now covers his ears, terrified of what’s to come, while we struggle daily with the ongoing need for essential health supplies and personal items like milk and diapers, which have disappeared from the market!
