Help Manar and Her Family Evacuate Gaza

Hello everyone,

My name is Daniel and I am from the Dallas area. I'm reaching out on behalf of Manar and her family located in Rafah. The money being raised is for Manar Abu Assi, her husband, his mother, and the three children Mela, Sultan, and Ebrahim. The funds will be transferred to Manar through PayPal and will be used to rebuild the home of Manar and her family or pay the mandatory fees associated with crossing the border into Egypt (if the border opens back up), food, clothes, and getting housing for the family.

Below is their story.

My name is Manar Abu Assi. I am 27 years old and am the mother of three children: Ebrahim who is 10 years old, Mela who is 4 years old, and Sultan who is 1 year old. I am reaching out to you in a desperate plea for help. Until October 7 we were living a peaceful and happy life in Gaza but the beginning of the war in Gaza turned our world upside down, leaving us in a state of complete despair. As a result of the war, we lost everything: our home, our possessions, and even our most basic necessities.

The situation in Gaza has rapidly deteriorated, leaving us without electricity, water, and adequate food supplies. We were forced to leave our house (now destroyed) under fire with nothing but our passports and some clothes. The area where we lived was completely destroyed and now we are struggling to meet our most basic needs. My family is currently living in a two-meter tent without basic necessities.

I am reaching out to you, dear friends, with a humble request for support. We urgently need to raise $5,000 per person to evacuate my family from Gaza and find safety elsewhere. This amount will cover the costs of transportation and temporary shelter and provide us with the means to start over and continue education for my children. We have exhausted all our resources and tried to pool our savings to escape Gaza, but it is simply not enough to cover the cost of leaving for all five of us. These costs include transportation and basic needs, beyond our reach.

Your support will not only help us escape the mass extermination in Gaza taking place, but it will also give my family a chance to rebuild our lives and find stability in Egypt.
