**Please see the update below- Manar and Lama were the only survivors of an attack on their home on 07/12
"Welcome everybody
I am Manar, 23 years old, from Gaza, which has been under siege for 17 years and has been subjected to seven wars that have consumed our flesh and blood.
I am a mother of two daughters (Lama and Taqa) and a son (Hamza).
I used to live like a mother in stability and security. I started my day by combing my two daughters’ hair and preparing a bottle of milk for my son Hamza, and then I would prepare breakfast for me, my husband, and my two daughters.
I remember that day well, on the sixth of October. My husband, my children, and I went to the amusement park, where we ate lunch and played on the children’s swings until sunset. We were not satisfied with an hour or two of fun and play, and something inside us said, “Don’t come home. This is the last day of your life as a human being, and starting from Tomorrow there is no life. The night darker and it became necessary to return home. We returned home exhausted. I put my children to sleep and went to bed in the warmth to continue my conversation with my husband until dawn.
I did not sleep much, so soon we woke up to the sound of bombing and our children screaming in terror. My husband ran to Lama and Toqa and told them, “Don’t be afraid, Dad, these are high school celebrations.” As for my fear, I ran to my hijab for fear that I would die in my nightclothes without a hijab.
At first we were in denial and said it would be like other wars for several weeks and would end and smiles would return to my children, but this injustice has gone on for too long.
My daughter Lama lost her first year of school, while my son Hamza has reached the age of one year and has not had a single tooth come out of his mouth due to malnutrition. As for my daughter Toqa, she has suffered from hair loss, broken nails, and slow growth due to malnutrition as well.
I come to you now after I have lost all means of survival. There is only one way left for me to survive with my children, which is to travel to Egypt until the war ends, but this step requires me to spend $5,000 for each adult and $2,500 for each child. This means that we need $17,500 for evacuation to reach... To be safe and have a chance at life for me, my husband, and my children, in addition to the period of my stay in Egypt, I need about $5,000 between renting an apartment and food, drink, and clothing.
Any donation even it's a little. It will make a difference and it will play a significant rule in saving my family, I will be greatful for you forever."
