Help Mandi (and Chris) Fight Cancer Medical Bills

As most of you know Mandi, our sweet friend, daughter, mom, sister, teacher……. has been battling breast cancer. This summer Mandi was diagnosed with breast cancer, she has under gone a lumpectomy to remove the tumor, which was very successful. Before and after her surgery she has had to do numerous tests to determine the best route of treatment for the cancer which some were covered by insurance and some were not covered. As of right now Mandi has been doing radiation treatment. There are still many unknowns as to the treatment in the months ahead, but one thing that is certain will be the financial burden that Mandi has already began to endure and will continue to have for months. The average cost of breast cancer treatment is $20,000-$100,000 out of pocket depending on insurance benefits, not to mention the toll it takes on your body which will require extra help, travel expenses to and from Dr apts, time off of work for recovery and future appointments. Our girl needs our help!!

 

In addition to Mandi's Medical bills , Chris was in a Motorcycle accident (the day after Mandi' s surgery , in which he was taken to the ER, after his release from the ER Chris kept passing out and the Paramedics had to be called and he was transported back to the ER . He still has a broken collarbone that might need to be repaired. Anyone who knows Mandi and Chris knows that they are very humble and would never ask for a hand out, but this need for medical help is very really and has become a huge burden on them both. They are the strongest, thoughtful, caring, couple we know and they just need to focus on recovery rather than how they are going to manage all of these medical bills.
