My nephews funeral expenses

Hi my name is Mandi. On 7/4/24 my 26 yr old nephew, Eric, was rushed to St Vincent hosp in Evansville IN with heart failure. Since being admitted we have learned he has a rare bacteria growing on 2 of his heart valves. He has had 2 major strokes due to the bacteria breaking off and going to the brain since Friday . On 7/7 he was rushed to Indy where he coded twice on the way there. He has been placed in a medically induced coma upon arrival and has a SEVERE brain bleed. We know his heart valves will need to be replaced but before that can happen the bleeding and strokes have to be under control. He has lost all movement to his right side and no longer has use of his left leg either.

My aunt(his mom) has not left his side. She is currently in Indy staying in the room with him. She is a severe diabetic and a single mother, relentless no matter Eric’s age. That’s still her son.

UPDATED: on 7/10 Eric began to run a high fever. His resting heart rate was 126 and his blood pressure was extremely high. The CT scan shows that he still has some bleeding on the brain which is keeping the cardiologist from preforming the life saving surgery he needs on his heart. Eric continues to be in a Medically Induced Coma and on a Vent. He was given a blood transfusion due to his hemoglobin being very low. he has not been very responsive to the nurses, but we continue to pray!

On 7/14 @5:30p Eric gained his wings, all donations will go toward paying for his funeral expense, as there was no insurance.
