Help Mandisa’s family with this abrupt transition

Hi Dear Community,

As you know, Mandisa who has done so much for our school, our students, and our entire admin and faculty team was abruptly let go due to sudden budget cuts. Mandisa not only supported admin, faculty and students— but was often the first person in the door, the first person available for student care, and someone who coordinated countless responsibilities that benefited us all (facilities management, lunch coordination, advisory groups and so much more) at school.

We know Mandisa is a strong, skilled, qualified, and intelligent woman who will find a new position in time— and we also know that being a single parent in the Bay Area already poses financial challenges such that Mandisa was already working a second job in the evenings, in order to make ends meet.

We are rallying together in hopes to make this transition (near the holidays no less) easier on Mandisa and her three children. If you are in a position to offer financial support at this time, Mandisa and her family can use the transitionary support!
