Help Mango Fight Lymphoma

On June 8, 2024, we received devastating news: our beloved dog and best friend, Mango, has lymphoma, one of the most aggressive forms of cancer in dogs.

We are still in shock. Initially, we took her to the vet for a red, irritated eye and sudden difficulty navigating her surroundings. The diagnosis has left us heartbroken.

Mango is our daughter Emma’s closest companion. We've shared countless memories and moments of joy with her, and her unconditional love has meant the world to us.

Despite the diagnosis, our little girl is still full of life at less than four years old. We've decided to get her to an oncologist as soon as possible. We were informed that there are a few options for Mango, but without treatment, she would likely only have two months left with us. So, we've chosen to pursue chemotherapy (CHOP) to give her the best care and chance she deserves. The CHOP protocol is the most successful treatment for Mango’s cancer, with over 80% of dogs achieving clinical remission, where all signs of the disease disappear. This is what we’re hoping and praying for.

However, the cost of treatment is challenging. Chemotherapy for dogs is expensive, and we’re reaching out to friends, family, and organizations for support.

The estimated cost for Mango’s treatment is roughly $5,000 - $7,000 or more over the next few months. Unfortunately, this doesn’t include any unplanned emergency room visits or prescriptions she might need.
