Help Maram Rebuild Her Life

Hello! My name is Andrea and I have created this GoFundMe to help support my friend Maram her family. They have been dealing with an increasingly impossible situation and need our help to purchase necessities like food, medicine, and shelter (tents). The ultimate goal is to provide enough support to help them leave the country and make it to safety. Thank you for considering making donations to Maram. Every little amount counts, but please donate as much as you are able. Every bit of the money you donate will be sent directly to Maram from my account, minus the necessary transfer fees.

This is a new fundraising page for Maram. On the original page, we were able to raise just over $25,000 which Maram used to care for her family's needs. My hope is to double that amount and have enough after necessities to get Maram and her family out of the country.

Hello, beautiful people in the world. Friend, in the past, I dreamt like you. Like you, I lived a life full of love and followed my dreams, but now my heart is filled with sadness. Let me tell you my story. My name is Maram from Palestine, from the resilient Gaza Strip. At the age of 26, I experienced many wars.

My mother died of cancer when I was three years old, and I then spent my entire life with my father, his wife, and his five children.

Now, my family consists of my father and his children.

My family and I live in the city of Khan Younis, but on December 3, 2023, we experienced a life of displacement and dispersion from home. We left home with sadness and pain, the enemy destroyed everything in our city, the landmarks became unknown, and everything disappeared. We experienced six months of displacement, full of pain and suffering. Then, despite being destroyed, we still returned and tried to live regardless of everything. Now we live in the most difficult and harsh conditions, without clean water, without life, everything has become strange, my friends.

Before this war, I followed my dream, studied basic education in university, and then graduated, working hard to realize my dream and self, helping my family because no one helped them. I worked in a company and helped them, but after the war destroyed my future, dreams, and everything on October 7th, we had nothing left. Before the war, I tried to find a specialized job in my homeland, but I did not receive it. I sought scholarships in the UAE until I pursued a specialized master's degree, but unfortunately, the war broke out and destroyed everything.

We have lost everything now.

I hope you support me as much as possible so that I can help my family and get out of here, out of the place that oppressed me and my dreams.
