Help Maram's Family Escape War-Torn Sudan

Hello! I am making this gofundme on behalf of Maram (or as friends lovingly call her Rooma) to help her and the other 3 members of her family escape the war in Sudan.

Here are some words from her:

I'm Maram and I'm from Sudan. I made this campaign to Evacuate with my family of 3 (a Sister , a brother and my Mother ) outside Sudan ..

We weren't well off before the war but we were getting by.

We lived in a rental but we managed ..

My dad work as a teacher But his work and return from it are not enough even our basic needs of housing and living after the war and cannot afford travel and visas under these circumstances..

My mother is housewife. She couldn't work because her health won't allow her. she has multiple chronic illnesses to which she is receiving medications; Diabetic for 15 years, Has Hypertension, She had knee surgery before the war.

When the war started we couldn't leave because we didn't have the means to and we used every single penny we own and have been living off the help of our relatives for months Where he gave us a house for several months, but we had to rent later.

We had to evacuate our house and were internally displaced last August after multiple harassment incidents.

At that time our house Looted by RSF with any savings that were of great value to us ( our house the only item of value we own) was stolen.The place we seeked shelter in (still inside Khartoum) kept getting worse and worse by the day. Bombing and frequent clashes. with power cuts , lack of food and water and complete network blackout.

So we had to leave and where displaced again for the Second time in northern state

But no matter were we moved the death and destruction follow us.

Join us in the fight against war and genocide as we strive to overcome the challenges that have impacted our family.

The collected funds will be used for my mother health careVisas,Airline Tickets,Travel Expenses,my siblings education,Accommodations and help the family settle as they process an extremely traumatizing experienc..

The travel expenses are overwhelming, and despite my best efforts, i cannot afford them this is where I humbly ask for your support.
