Help Marcos Sanchez and his family after a tragic hit and run accident.

Friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

On July 29th, our lives were turned upside down when my brother-in-law Marcos was crossing the street in Chicago after getting lunch. In a split second and out of nowhere, a car sped around all the stopped traffic, struck him, and fled the scene, leaving him critically injured. Since that day, Marcos has been in the Chicago ICU, fighting to recover from the severe head trauma and other injuries he sustained.

Marcos and his partner Kelly are both self-employed, and together they have three wonderful children. With the unexpected medical expenses and loss of income due to his hospitalization and Kelly's unwavering support by his side, the financial strain on the family has been overwhelming.

We have been blessed with so much support already and donations to an account in his name in our hometown, but so many of you have reached out asking for GoFundMe to be an option for those who are not local and for ease of donating. After much consideration, we have decided to add this as an additional way you can help support them financially.
