Help Marcus and Micah Play for Team USA

Hi, this is Micah Wagner and Marcus Lee. We have recently been selected to represent Team USA this summer at the World Junior Ultimate Championships in Birmingham, England. This has been a huge dream of ours since we started playing Ultimate. We now have this amazing opportunity to play for our country, however, it is an extremely costly trip to make it overseas.

We both grew up playing Ultimate together in the greater D.C. area, playing on the Foggy Bottom Boys YCC team last summer under coaches Mina Kim, Zach Norbom, and Andrew Roy.

Marcus is currently captaining Jackson-Reed's varsity high-school Ultimate Frisbee team for his fourth and final year on the program. He also played for D.C Metro and D.C Capital Heights U-17 YCC program. As well as playing on the Foggy Bottom Boys YCC team and Bethesda Redwolves club team last summer.

Micah is currently playing his first year on Tulane's Ultimate Team, Tucks. He captained his High School's Ultimate program, Walt Whitman Poets, and played for four years in Bethesda, Maryland. He also played for D.C. Metro's U-17 team in 2021. This past summer he played for Foggy Bottom Boys YCC team and the Bethesda Red Wolves club team.

Thus to say, we are no strangers to DMV Ultimate and have been playing with and against each other for many years now. We appreciate all the teams and coaches we have had along the way and are so fortunate we have the opportunity to go to Birmingham, England to play against world-class competition.

The World Junior Ultimate Championships take place from July 20th-27th in England. There are also two separate training camps in Chicago, Illinois, and Denver, Colorado. All donations will help directly with the cost of flights/transportation, lodging, and tournament fees. We are extremely appreciative of any donations and all the people who have helped us get here.
