Help Marcus Betts' family recover from the fires.

My name is Marcus Betts. January 7, 2025, changed the trajectory of my community and family as a result of the catastrophic fire in Altadena, California. I've spent my entire childhood in Altadena, and my children have done the same.

Due to the recent fire, we have to start over from scratch. The park where I played Little League Baseball and met lifelong friends is severely damaged. My daughters' elementary /middle school, Pasadena Rosebud Academy Charter School, is destroyed. Our home was burned completely to ashes. Today, January 15th, makes it a week exactly since all the above occurred. Although the fire started on January 7th, I know our home was destroyed after 3:30 am on the 8th as me, two uncles, and several cousins were still hard at work trying to get vehicles and pets moved to safety, and our houses watered down. Fortunately, our efforts were able to save my uncle's house. I thank God we are all safe with the opportunity to heal and rebound.

I am humbly asking for donations to help my family and I recover from this horrific fire and restore my family's joy. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your contribution.
