Help Margaret Cummings build a safe home

Donation protected
Aloha everyone, we are humbly asking for help to repair our beautiful mother's home. She is the backbone of our family and no one is more deserving than her. Sad to say she has been fighting cancer for over 6 years. We say fighting because that's exactly what she is, "a fighter" which she continues to prove after countless chemotherapy treatments and surgeries. A few years ago her  ovarian cancer went into remission and just recently we have received devastating news that her cancer return in the lining of her stomach. But despite her situation, she is more concerned with everyone else's well-being than her own. She is one of the most strong, selfless, courageous, kind, and loving person you will ever know and the list goes on.

She dedicated the early years of her life to serving her country as a nurse in the U.S. Army. Helping to care for the newborn babies in the NICU. Fast forward to the loss of her dearest father and husband, Margaret and her mother, Alice were the sole caretakers of the house, both financially and domestically. Along with taking care of her home, for over 50 years she has cared for her son who has cerebral palsy, while simultaneously caring for Alice (her mother and best friend) who was diagnosed with dementia in her later years. After the passing of her mom, she took out a mortgage on the house and now lives on a fixed income. Heavy rains have flooded her cherished, childhood home, and is in desperate need of repairs. Her home has always been the place of happiness, raising and providing for her large and ever-growing family. She has also taken
many people into her home, serving as a safe haven for those who are having a hard time, a place where the door is open to one and all. She has lived a simple life so her family could live a better one.

Her family is eager to put in their labor of love to help give back to the woman who has given them everything, but we need kind and caring people to help raise the finances to get it done as soon as possible. Please help us to get this strong, deserving, caring and selfless lady a comfortable place to live in. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity. Anything is appreciated, even a simple prayer.
