Help Margaret with Medical and Transportation Cost

This is my sister, Margaret McKenzie Crittenden.

Margaret has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma. The cancer has spread to multiple locations including her pelvic bone.

She has been able to acquire some health insurance. However, the copays and deductibles are already piling up even with just the testing. Her chemotherapy will begin soon and will require several rounds of treatment. Therefore these expenses will only increase going forward.

She and husband, Calvin are also needing to drive to Athens and Tyler for appointments and tests and as you all know gas is expensive.

In the midst of all this, Margaret and Calvin have had a run of bad luck lately with appliances breaking down – first the washer and then the refrigerator.

Some of Margaret’s family members have already donated to help Margaret and Calvin out and they are so thankful to all of you.

However, we felt it would be helpful to put this out here in order to reach other generous people who might be willing and able to help.

If any of you would choose to donate anything for Margaret’s expenses it would be so appreciated. Even a little gas money would be helpful.

I wanted to do this for Margaret because I know that going through a battle with cancer always brings stress. However, I believe that getting relief from some of the financial burden will free up Margaret's heart and mind so that she can fight this with all she has.

Margaret's faith in her God is strong and she believes in the power of prayer. Therefore, whether you are able to give financially or not, please lift her and Calvin up in prayer and thank you so much!
