Help Maria Ramirez Toscano's Family for Funeral Expenses

My mom, Maria Ramirez, put up a strong fight. She battled until she couldn't battle anymore. She got suddenly sick which landed her in the hospital. There she fought one complication after another. She tried pulling through but after 32 days in and out of ICU the complications took a huge toll on her fragile body. Our family had to make the toughest decision of another cycle of antibiotics for another 25 days or bringing her home This was the 4th cycle of antibiotics after the last 3 treatments failed. Us trying to save our mother we elected to continue with the antibiotics treatments. All the medications began to cause respiratory distress, kidney and liver failure. After 2 days beginning the new series of antibiotics she began to deteriorate even more. Her case was very complicated. We knew she would not be able to stick out out for another 23 days of treatment. The doctors explained the reality of her illness. Our choice was to give her quality of life. So we brought her home to be with her family as she asked us to. She wanted peace at home and to be surrounded by her loved ones. Our mother will continue to be our queen and warrior.
