Help Mariani afford a kidney transplantation!

Hi there,
I´m Stefan from Germany. I love animals, and especially cats. And I also love people who care for animals in need. So I want to share a story with you:
This is Mariani.
Mariani lives in Bandung. The so called City of Flowers is the capital city of the West Java province of Indonesia and is home to more than 2.5 million people.
It´s a vibrant metropolis and full of culture, life and joy. But at the same time the streets of Bandung are also full of poor cats that are exposed to the hurly-burly of city life. They´re living in the streets with all the dangers such a live has to offer. They have to find food each day and often they are full of parasites and infections. Another huge danger for them is the heavy traffic on the streets of Bandung. Many cats are hit by cars and motorcycles and suffer from heavy injuries or are roadkilled.
So, in 2013, Mariani decided these poor souls need someone who cares for them.
For over 10 years, Mariani spends her time and personal money for looking after about 70 street cats in her neighbourhood, feeding them and giving them veterinary treatment if needed. To many of them, she also provides a foster home in her flat.
The amount of food alone needed for helping them not to starve is about 120 kg of dry food and 250 cans of wet food per month.
The costs for this are carried by Mariani, a few friends and family members that help her and from dontions she asks for on her Instagram account "cessy_messy_". I follow her and her rescues for years now and also make donations as frequently as possible.
In 2014 Mariani suffered a blow of fate: She was diagnosed with kidney dysfunction.
Mariani underwent medical treatment, infusion therapy and hemodialysis. During all this time, she went on caring for the street cats.
Unfortunately, the disease progressed. Diagnosis: End-stage chronic renal failure.
Mariani needs a kidney transplant. The sooner, the better.
Fortunately, her little brother is willing to donate a kidney for her to implant. But the costs for compatibility tests and for the transplantaion itself are not covered by the health insurance in all parts of the country. The costs for a kidney transplantation are about 500M Indonesian Rupiah which is about 30.000 USD. Additionally, the compatibility test costs about 20M (about 1,200 USD). Depending on the health insurance and hospital, about half of the costs is covered by the insurance/government. This means that approximately 15.000 USD has to be paid by the patient.
Unfortunately, Mariani cannot bear the costs herself. So together, we decided to open this funding page and reach out to people to enable Mariani a transplantation so she can return back to health and keep on caring for the ones who need her: The street cats of Bandung.
Please consider donating.
Every Dollar counts and helps Mariani come closer to her dream of a healthy life.
Since GoFundMe is not available in Indonesia, all money donated will go to a bank account in Germany and is transferred to Mariani from there to 100 %.
Thank you all!
