Help Marianne and Steve rebuild their home!

On Sunday morning, January 16, 2022, my mother's house in Fort Meyers, Florida, was significantly damaged by an F2 tornado that decimated their neighborhood. Thankfully, what was probably one of the scariest minutes of their lives did not result in physical injury. Still, their home suffered severe roof damage, resulting in leaks and water damage and the enclosed porch and carport destruction.

They are living in their home while they make plans for repairs, although the water damage is increasing due to multiple roof leaks. As with many disaster sites, awaiting construction estimates takes time. Unfortunately, they have now received their repair estimate, making recovery financially tricky.
