Help Maricar Fight Stage 2 Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Angelica, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support. I am raising funds for my sister, Maricar who is in the Philippines and was recently diagnosed with stage 2 cancer.

On April 8, we received a heartbreaking news that she had cancer after she decided to have a check up as she has been having an episode of breast pain. At that time, it was stage 1 but just after two weeks, on April 24 further tests revealed that the cancer had progressed to stage 2.

Maricar is not only my sister, she’s a loving mother to three children, all of whom are still in school. She is the heart of her family, and seeing her in pain while still trying to be strong for her children is incredibly hard.

The road ahead includes extensive treatment such as CT scans, bone scans,18 cycles of chemotherapy and 18 cycles of targeted theraphy. These are just the initial test and treatment that she will be undergoing. I’ve been doing my best to support her and her kids financially, but the cost of cancer treatment is overwhelming and far beyond what I can manage on my own.

That’s why I’m turning to you, our community, our friends, and kind-hearted strangers for help. Any amount, no matter how small, will go directly to covering her medical expenses and helping her continue the fight for her life and her children’s future.
