Help Marike and Bodhi Rebuild Their Life (Eaton Fire)
Donation protected
Marike and Bodhi are two wonderful friends of ours who have lost their part of their life. Marike is a fierce widowed single mother who lights up any room around her. She has endured so much these past years and still has a smile on her face and listens to everyone with an open heart whenever they are grieving. She and her son have lost their home among so many other in Altadena. Another loss this family will endure and I am sure she will do it with grace. She's a yoga master, a previous Vice Principal to a school in the Palisades, a candle company owner of Altadena Candle Company, and a healing presence galore. Her son, Bodhi, is a sweet 7 year old boy.
Please help Marike and Bodhi in any way that you can to rebuild their life.

About me: I’m Nicole, mother, and wife. We live in Alhambra, CA but I consider Altadena to be a neighborhood of my own. I lived in Altadena from 2000-2006 and my mom and brother lived there from 2002-2010. Our daughter, Marley, went to Odyssey Charter School South (which was also lost to the fire) for both kindergarten and 1st grade and that’s where we met Marike and Bodhi. When my grandmother died in 2022, Marike and I would take walks and we would talk about grief. We’d walk around the school where our little ones were enjoying kindergarten. Bodhi and Marley weren’t in the same class but would often go up the stairs together every morning. Here’s a picture of Bodhi and Marley on animal day in kindergarten on the top of the steps.

The donations from this go fund will go to any uncovered costs.
