Update on Marileigh: 2/25/25 :

She is still in ICU on a ventilator. The bullet path left lots of damage and she had complications on 2/24 which caused her to be put back on a ventilator. She is fighting for her life and still has a long recovery. It appears that once she leaves the hospital that she will need some time at a rehabilitation facility to regain her mobility and regroup. This will be an additional expense on the family so please continue to pray and share her story.

On February 22, 2025, my best friend, Georgeann Park Garner tragically lost her life over a road rage incident turned deadly. The world lost a beautiful soul that day.

Georgeann truly had a smile that would light up a room. Her eyes twinkled when she laughed and glittered when she snorted. She was taken from us far too quickly and her life was ended by ruthless people with road rage whose hearts were full of hate.

The world was robbed of her beauty on her birthday. Georgeann was out celebrating being 48 with her family. One minute, she was out celebrating at a Mardi Gras parade in Panama City beach and the next minute her life was taken needlessly by an act of violence that was senseless and selfish.

Georgeann was shot in her car at a red light while trying to flee from another vehicle in a road rage incident.

And her beloved daughter Marlileigh Lewis was shot in the backseat of her mother’s car as well during the incident. Marileigh suffered a bullet to the chest and almost lost her life too. She is currently in ICU with extensive damage. She will need time to heal and her medical bills will be extensive and expensive. She has a long recovery to make and will also have to learn to navigate life without her beloved mother.

Georgeann was taken away from those of us who loved her way too soon and her family was not prepared for funeral expenses because she still had so much life left to live.

Georgeann was a single mom to two kids who depended on her daily. Marileigh is currently in icu and facing a lengthy recovery from the wounds that she suffered. And her son Davin will need time to focus on his sister’s recovery and not be bothered by costly expenses to bury his mother.

Burial expenses are costly and the children have been life with zero life insurance to help offset these costs. Please feel free to donate to help this family out in their time of need.

All donations will be used for expenses for her family for medical bills, Funeral expenses because her children will need help with her final arrangements, and any legal assistance that the family may need to help find Justice for Georgeann and Marileigh.
