Help Marilou meet her bills
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Anne Marie Brostrup-Jensen and I'm appealing to you all on behalf of Marilou Kelso. She is one of the most beautiful and selfless people I know. She had a job working with people who desperately needed her input and knowledge gained from years of fighting both for her family and others. She herself has both physical and emotional disabilities and she is 67 years old. This makes it hard to start over. However, she also has so many valuable abilities with which she devotedly served the people who need care. She truly served with all her heart and soul. Her job was central to who she is. She has unique qualities and knowledge she never failed to share with those who needed her. However, due to something which is unclear to us, she lost her job. Now she has little income and cannot manage her bills, such as rent, electricity, heat. Her retirement check is only $419 because historically she didn't work much. Instead, she took care of her husband with Alzheimers for years, even when he didn't remember her. Marilou knows she needs to get another job, but is so immobilized and confused about losing her prior beloved job, that she needs some time. Please help her to manage during this time of shock and despair. Donate to her, for she, who gave all she had to others, now needs it for herself.
I want to let you all know about just one of the many ways Marilou has enhanced my life over the time I've known her:
When Marilou learned I was seeking to adopt two kitten siblings, she went into high gear. Not only did she know of two siblings recently born to a friend of hers, I got to see photos of these little guys as they came of age. When they were delivered to my apartment after being weaned, Marilou contributed litter, two bags of kitten food, a litter scoop, a double food bowl, toys, and probably things I'm forgetting. I can't tell you how much I love my cats. They're the best thing in my life, thanks to Marilou, It is the kind of thing she does daily. She is very thorough about blessing people.
