Help Mario on road to recovery

I was hesitant to post this but I know that the overall people who see and read this will read it in knowledge of who this man is , and what he is to all who know and love him. Mario (Rio) took a unforeseen turn in his health last week, initially assuming since he’s dealt with them pretty much all his life, that this was just another migraine. Far from the case he was flown out to University of Tennessee hospital on Tuesday unresponsive and not doing well at all. He’s been highly sedated since that date. His vitals were off the charts low and his kidneys seemed to be failing. A CT scan that night showed that he had a mass on his brain and a possible rupture. They continued to heavily sedate him and felt best to put him on a ventilator due to the sedation been high enough for him not to breath on his own. Fighter that he is his kidney function doubled over night and has been improving by the hour. Doctors were concerned about brain damage because he had been responding to pain pinches/pokes but not responding to any verbal commands squeeze a hand or move his feet and legs. I Prayed on his situation with no room for negative thoughts or what ifs. Though his doctor attempted to prep me for expectance of brain damage and the likelihood of him losing his sight, I had full confidence and faith that the Most High would see him through this fight. I stressed to his kids (and anybody else with concerns about him ) to stay strong and put out the same energy and positive prayers, no room for negative thought. He woke up on Tuesday and was able to communicate with me using his hands, shaking his head (yes/no) with all functions of his limbs. He went though brain surgery yesterday morning to remove the mass( tumor), this relived pressure on his brain and optic nerves, and Is back in his room recovering well. He should be takin off the ventilator within the hour. I have no doubt that his faith, prayers from family and friends is what is pulling him though this. Everybody who knows me and my brother, know we some of the closest brothers you’ll ever run across and have been all our lives. There are many unknowns and a long road of recovery mentally , physically and financially. Praying this money I’m raising will bring some ease off of him as he recovers. We don’t know the full road to recovery at this time but the money will be used to cover his surgery cost and help him maintain as he is unable to work.
