Help Marion after the tragic accident
Donation protected
Manton, California. Our beloved Volunteer Fire Cheif Marion Rocksvold was in a severe rollover hit and run vehicle accident on November 12th. Marion has been a Tehama County volunteer fire fighter for the past 26 years. She has been there on calls for many of our community members including my own child. Below is a statement from her daughter Michelle on her current condition.
My mother is currently at Enloe in Chico in critical condition. She is sedated and intubated. Both lungs were collapsed and draining tubes are in place. She has severe facial fractures and a cranial fracture, an open fracture on her right wrist, 3 fractured vertebrae, a fractured pelvis, chemical burns to her chest and left arm (battery exploded). She was able to respond to requests to move her toes and squeeze with her left hand on Saturday, so there is hope, and she is a very tough woman, but it will be a long haul if she makes it through these rough few days.
Violet a family dog was also in the vehicle and suffered a fractured limb, currently is recovering at home.
I'm creating this go fund me to help Marion and her family deal with the financial burdens and loss as a result of this tragic event. Any contribution you are able to make is greatly appreciated.
