Help Marjon Women’s lacrosse go a total of 4974km

Marjon Women's Lacrosse is a team that is dedicated and enthusiastic in trying to be the best that they can be. 

We are creating this fundraiser to help support a our club with being able to 
supply good quality kit and equipment so that we can continue to keep lacrosse a university sport. And this will also help contribute to our varsity. 

On behalf of Marjon women's lacrosse we would like to donate half of what we 
raise to the lacrosse foundation to allow all individuals the opportunity to get 
involved in lacrosse wherever they may be. 

Over the next 4 weeks Marjon Women’s Lacrosse will be undertaking a challenge covering a total distance of 4974km. And this has been worked out by where we would have been able to travel for our league fixtures and friendlies, but also
where women's lacrosse was first played in the UK. Each week we have a target    that we wish to reach to complete the challenge.

Our First week we will be starting off close to home travelling a total of 340km and this is equivalent to the journey to and from both Plymouth University and Exeter 5 teams as well as visiting Falmouth for a friendly.

Week 2 we are travelling a total of 898km and this is for us travelling to play UWE 2 and Bournemouth 1.

Week 3 is a total journey of 1150km, and this is the journey it would take when we would visit Southampton 1 and Bournemouth 2.

Final week 4 we travel our last league game to play Southampton 2’s and we travel to and from where women’s lacrosse was first played in the UK and this was St Leonard’s, Scotland. So, the total for the final week is 2586km

Over theses 4 weeks we hope that we can reach these targets that we have set and potentially go over them.
