Help Marjorie breathe

I have been battling lung cancer for over a year now. In recent weeks my lungs have weakened so much that I need to be on oxygen 24 hours a day. My body is unable to get the oxygen it needs by simply breathing.  At home it is no problem as I have a plug in oxygen concentrator.  
Now that I have to use oxygen all the time when I want to go anywhere I have to take a big oxygen tank with me that only lasts 3 hours. It is bulky and difficult to maneuver. This limits my ability to go and do many things. I can't even do my own grocery shopping.  It makes me sad because I basically feel stuck at home,and unable to do the things I enjoy. Travel isn't much of  an option unless we fill the back of the vehicle with big oxygen tanks.
I have looked into the solution which is a portable battery powered oxygen concentrator, but my insurance won't pay for it. They are very costly , so aI am looking to my friends and family to help.  
The doctors don't think l have alot of time left. (Maybe a year) It would really mean alot to me to be able to enjoy the time I do have to the fullest as opposed to stuck at home due to the limitations of my breathing.
