Help Mark get the equipment he needs .

In Sep 2021, Mark age 57, was diagnosed with stage 4 incurable cancer. This came as a huge shock to him and his family but even more shocking was the news that the cancer, that originated in his right kidney, had already spread to his bones (jaw, hips, ribs and spine).

More recently he has also fractured his collarbone due to the cancer spreading. All this means that Mark is beginning to face some difficulties regarding his mobility and carrying out every day tasks.

There are many types of specialist equipment/furniture available that will allow Mark to retain his independence for as long as possible. Currently an essential requirement is a riser/recliner chair to provide comfortable seating and to assist him in getting up.

 

Mark served in the Royal Navy for 32 years he served on HMS Diomede/Apollo/Berwick/Amazon/Cardiff & The Ark Royal, the majority of this time as a Physical Training Instructor and also a member of the Portsmouth Field Gun Crew which he ran in 1987/91/94. He is not a person that would ask for or easily accept help/assistance, therefore I have decided to create this Go Fund Me page to raise funds to assist Mark who has served his country and therefore, in my opinion, deserves a helping hand at this difficult time.
