Help Mark and Barbara Herman After Tragic Accident

We are reaching out to ask for your prayers and support for our dear friend, Mark Herman. Mark has been a pillar in law enforcement for nearly 54 years, serving as a field training officer, Homicide Detective, District Attorney investigator, and a steadfast friend. He has touched many lives, from his time at the Missouri City Police Department, Houston Police Department, Fort Bend Co Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constables Office to his current role as a municipal court bailiff at Bellaire Police Department, Texas.

Tragically, Mark suffered a severe head trauma resulting in several brain bleeds swelling of the brain and a fractured skull while cleaning up after the recent Hurricane . He has been in the Neuro ICU unconscious for over 2 weeks, battling multiple critical issues. Despite the odds, Mark has shown remarkable resilience. He successfully underwent surgery for a tracheotomy and PEG, and his sepsis is under control. His kidney function is improving, and he is breathing with some assistance of a ventilator without sedation.

Mark’s road to recovery will be long and will requires your continued prayers and support. His family has been by his side every day, and we need your help to ensure he gets the best care possible.
