Help Mark Masarsky recover from Viral Meningitis

Dear Friends,

You all know Mark as a healthy, young athlete who just days prior to his illness graduated from Glenbrook North High school.

This past weekend Mark suddenly developed very high fevers and an awful headache. The following day he suffered a seizure and had to be emergently taken to the hospital/intensive care unit and put on life support. The current diagnosis is viral meningitis/encephalitis and he is slowly recovering but has a ways to go. Sadly due to his illness Mark had to miss his high school graduation. This illness is a huge shock to everyone but we know Mark is strong and will overcome this!

His whole family is at his bedside around the clock. Valeria Masarsky- Mark's mom and our beloved Northbrook/Glenview ice skating coach needs all the support we can provide as of course she cannot coach right now.

Please help him and his family get back on their feet quickly!
