Help Mark Wischmeyer of Jamestown CO with med bill
Donation protected
Our friend, Mark Wischmeyer, has recently been hospitalized with severe pneumonia in both lungs, internal bleeding, and his body was septic. This time included some touch-and-go days in the ICU on a ventilator. He worked hard to survive and recover during his three weeks in two hospitals. Now back home in Jamestown, Colorado, Mark continues therapy to rehabilitate his strength and breathing.
Hospital bills and lack of income from missing work are adding up to much more than Mark's budget allows. It will be a while before he can get back on his feet.
Mr. Rogers said: when you're in trouble, look for the helpers. Decades ago, Mark decided to be a Helper. He volunteers with the Jamestown Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services. Upon recovery, Mark will return to his work of transporting disabled adults, and working one-on-one with Alzheimer's, dementia and end-of-life patients. He's also the type of guy who performs quiet acts of kindness. If his bank account were as big as his heart, we would not need to ask for help. Now it's time for us to help him out.
Please consider contributing generously to your friend and ours, Mark.
