Help Markay RISE UP After Eaton Fire Loss
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Markay (Lumi). The Eaton Fire in Altadena took everything—my home, my car, my music equipment—everything I had fought so hard to rebuild. One moment, everything was gone. This follows years of loss—homelessness, But against the odds, I found a home, built a studio, and began to create. Now, I stand among the ashes, needing help to rise again. Please support me as I fight to reclaim my dreams
update:A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Support
I want to express my deepest gratitude to every donor and well-wisher who has offered their support during this incredibly challenging time. Your kindness and generosity have shown me that I haven’t lost everything in this fire — because I have the unwavering love of my family and the incredible strength of this community.
Thanks to you, we’ve reached 50% of our fundraising goal, and I can’t thank you enough for being a part of this journey. If you’ve been considering contributing, now is the perfect time to do so. Every donation brings us closer to rebuilding and helps us move forward.
Although we have not yet been placed in temporary housing, progress is being made, and your continued support is helping us take the necessary steps to get back on our feet.
I am forever grateful to all of you for showing me what it truly means to be surrounded by love and compassion. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me feel like I still have the world.
With love and appreciation
