Help Marlena Rest Without Burden

Lacey W. and I have started this go fund me for our very dear friend Marlena Smith. She has been battling a fight with cancer for the past 3 years. Our initial goal is to raise enough funds to cover her funeral expenses.

On August 8th, 2024 her medical team informed her that the chemo she had been receiving was no longer working and there was nothing more that could be done for her. She has been placed on hospice care to keep her as comfortable as possible.

As a cancer patient, she had prepared for this and had a burial policy in place. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we found out that this policy is no longer in affect. She has recently relocated to her parents home where she can live out her final days in peace and with everyone that she knows and loves.

Marlena would never ask anyone for anything. This Godly lady has a heart of gold, and genuinely like no other.

With this money, we want to make sure she can be buried without leaving a burden on her parents and sisters. In doing this, it will let her be able to enjoy the time that she has left.
