Help Marlina Secure a Home for Her Family

My daughter and I need money for housing/rent. Our lease is up 5/31/24 and we've been unable to seriously look for a new place because we've been unable to apply anywhere. We don't have the money for the applications, deposit/fees, or rent. After working a 40-hour week & "donating" plasma, I never have enough to save (my current rent is $1550 & is going up to $1800, I take home less than $2k a month). Housing in our mostly rural area is extremely scarce right now and the rents have become ridiculously inflated.

I battle with depression/anxiety and it has gone through the roof because of the financial stressors I’ve been under. My daughter's health has also been affected in every aspect. It's difficult to thrive when you're worried about whether you'll have shelter the next day...week...month...

We need help and there are several areas where financial assistance will help:

It’s only my daughter, me, and our cats.

We’ve dealt with so much in the last several years, and it’s beaten the crap out of us. House fire, deaths of three important people in our lives (every one had been my best friend), having my job of 13 years eliminated, covid, our health--both of us with physical and mental issues…

Please help if you can, share if you can't, doing both would be awesome.
