We are safe, but we are still in need of your help

After three days without power, it was finally restored to our home, and our neighbor received power yesterday. However, we are reaching out for help for our children and ourselves as we navigate the difficult months ahead.
Marshall was decimated by the flood, and everywhere within an hour+ radius remains in a state of disrepair. Many without power, water, or cell phone service. But there is hope.
We are incredibly grateful to share that the boarding school has been blessed to receive one hot meal a day during the power outage, which has been a tremendous help.
However, we still have significant needs. The funds are necessary to replenish the resources we’ve already used. While my paycheck may come through in the next few days, it won’t cover everything. We are continuing the GoFundMe to help us secure gas, propane, and essential supplies, as well as fund our ability to reach out and help others.
Unfortunately, the school will remain without power for some time due to the severe electrical damage caused by water, even after power is restored in our area. Most of this fundraiser will be donated directly to that project, so we can get these girls electricity ASAP.
On top of that, travel has become much more difficult. With major interstate repairs underway and rerouted traffic, our travel time has nearly doubled, and this morning, two semi-trucks were trapped on our road, blocking traffic.
To all who have already donated, we cannot thank you enough for your generosity. If you’re unable to give financially, your prayers for our communities and for Changing Hearts Boarding School and Ministry are deeply appreciated. Every bit of support, whether in donations or prayers, is making a real difference in this challenging time.
