Help Marston Heal: Surgery Needed After Accident

Meet Marston!
Marston is a goldendoodle who just turned 6 months old. He went out to go to the bathroom Wednesday evening, 2/19/25, and never came back. He has always gone right out and sat on the porch when he's done. He loves sitting on the cold concrete watching cars go by and people walk by! He's never ran after anything to stray him from the yard so he's always been trusted to do so. This night he never showed back up. It was freezing and snowing so we thought someone must've taken him in but kept searching, posting on Facebook groups looking for him, everything. We ended up walking down the street to a neighbor girl come out and say she saw him earlier and thinks it was across the street. We start searching and Marston's daddy hears something he believes is a chain link fence so we go up the driveway we think we hear it at and low and behold, there's Marston, laying in the snow under a bush, freezing cold and not coming to us. He picks him up to him yelping and covered in blood. He walked a few steps for us and then wouldn't move any longer. We ended up taking him to the emergency vet in our area to find out he had been hit by a car and had internal bleeding and a broken pelvis on the right side. We ended up taking him back today, Friday, 2/21/25, after him being inconsolable in pain to find out after further inspection, he has an acetabular fracture on the left side of his pelvis as well has his entire pelvis is not connected to his spine, causing him much more pain in general. We have now been referred to UT Emergency Vet to have surgery done as this is his best option at living a healthy life in the future. Unfortunately due to many large life changes in the past year, we are unable to afford a costly surgery ourselves and are now reaching out for help as a last effort to get him the care he needs. The surgery is suspected to cost around $6k as an estimate of what we were told the first night but expect it may he a little bit more due to the left side also impacted now. If you find it in your heart to give forward to help him, we would greatly appreciate it. If you are struggling yourself and cannot give, we ask for prayers our way for him to be able to heal the best way possible. Thank you all.
