Help Martell Carpenter Rebuild After Fire

Hello everyone,

My name is Martell Carpenter and I work at the Post Climbing Gym in Pasadena, California. I'm the guy with the crazy hair that you may see at the front desk from time to time. I've undoubtedly joked around with many of you.

I've never written one of these and am not exactly sure what I'm supposed to say. But I'm a resident of Altadena and have been for a good majority of my life. I was forced to evacuate my home due to the fires. Unfortunately, my residence was lost and with that, a majority of my stuff.

I'm currently looking for a place to live temporarily while I figure things out. Anything that can be contributed would be helpful.

I want to say I feel really guilty even asking because so many more people lost so much more than I did. So I want to ask that if you do not have anything extra, please don't in any way feel obligated. Make sure it goes to those who are really in need. But for anybody that contributes, just know how grateful and humble I feel. I look forward to seeing you all back at the gym.
