Help Martels replace car lost in mid TN tornados
Donation protected
On Saturday, Dec. 9th, a tornado tore through Hendersonville, TN and devastated much of main street. My husband was at work when the tornado touched down, and he was able to help coworkers and customers take shelter. Thankfully, no one was hurt. We count that blessing multiple times a day.
The photo above shows my husband’s car and the building where he worked. We have lost his car (it was insured with liability only) and his income for the foreseeable future. I am a stay at home mom to two toddlers, one of whom is autistic, so the loss of our main source of income has us feeling stressed and scared and unsure of what to do at this point, but our home and our family are safe and I know not everyone can claim the same.
If you would like to help us raise the money for a down payment for a car, we would be so thankful. We appreciate and love this community so much, and are extremely grateful to those who have already reached out to offer help and support.
