Help Martin & Michelle Scam Losses

Donation protected
On 7/16/23, we were scammed on the Glenshire Community Watch FB Group for $1,800, when a person pretending to be someone else posted a moving sale. We immediately jumped on a Polaris for sale, with the idea of Martin using it for work and to help us financially. He was thinking of attaching a blade to help with snow removal and jobs around Glenshire. I soon learned, AFTER I Zelled them the full amount, that this didn’t feel right. The person then blocked me. I’ve called Bank of America and Zelle payments are considered cash payments and unrecoverable. I am having my 17th surgery (total knee replacement) in 30 days from today on 8/16/23, and Martin will be here with me 24/7 as my care taker. He was planning on taking off at least the first 2 weeks and not working/no income coming in, but being out the $1,800 and the investment towards what we thought we had made for his future work projects with the Polaris, we could REALLY use some help to recover some of this money that Martin works so hard for and what little my disability pays monthly. We thank you guys SO much and lesson learned.
