HELP MARTIN SUPPORT HIS CHILD MISSION IN UGANDA
Donation protected
Martin Loum, my friend from Uganda, is truly an amazing man with a remarkable life story. And he needs our help.
He and his wife Suzi had 5 children together, and then went on to adopt 16 more children of Uganda who did not have a home or any means of support. Their biggest expense is paying for school tuition (public schools are virtually nonexistent in rural Uganda). And they are continually needing to pay for malaria treatment and other medical expenses for these children.
Martin came to the United States in 2016 to earn money to support his large family. He has not seen his wife and family in seven years and his heart aches to return home to them. He needs money to help fund a home construction project in Uganda, and to provide continued support for his family there. Martin has worked very hard here, and Suzi works very hard there to care for their family. Please take a moment to read some of Martin’s amazing life story, and then to reflect on how you can help him.
Martin was only 10 when he moved into a refugee camp. By age 11, he was homeless and had to drop out of school. He was helped by Christian missionaries in Uganda and this helped inspire Martin to help the homeless children of Uganda as he had been helped.
At his graduation from Bible School, Martin was abducted by the Army and forced into 14 years of brutal military service.
Martin met his wife Suzi at church and after he got out of the army they began adopting children together.
Despite all of the terrible things that have happened to him, Martin is one of the most faithful and joyful people that I have ever known. It is truly a blessing to call him my friend and brother.
There are several ways you can help Martin:
You can contribute financially to this fundraiser. You can pray for Martin to be reunited with his family in Uganda. And you can share this link with your friends and family by message or on your social media.
Thank you and God bless you.
