Help Marty Nelson in a time of need

Hey everyone I'm Heather Koch Song a fellow Class of 99 classmate of Marty Nelson. Last night a post made me really sad... I messaged a few of our other classmates and asked their opinions and advice on what we could do to help Marty out. If you are friends with Marty and can see on his Facebook for yourself it would really make you sad too. He had posted he was going to run out of food, lose his home, barely had gas for his next Dr. Appt, his utilities are in threat to be cut off and he was hoping he could keep his phone and internet on long enough to get thru everything else that had been going on...

This is what I saw.. I messaged him and asked him if it was OK to do this to ask for help, if anyone could donate money, gift cards, gas cards or groceries.

I asked him to write why he was going thru all of this...so here is his story...I never want to see anyone not have food or be without..

On 5/15 I was taken to the hospital by EMS, I was found to have a large pleural effusion (fluid between my ribs and lung) and my INR was 8 (on Coumadin it should be between 2 & 3) and my hemoglobin was low and dropping. Initially they 1.6 L of blood and later another 3L of blood via chest tube until the line clogged. I was discharged home on 5/29 to home, and walked into a mess. I am currently facing dire circumstances, I have insurance to cover some of my missed wage but the wheels are turning slowly and I am running out of time. On the 17th if my rent isn’t paid I face eviction, despite having notified them while still in the hospital and being current until this event. I will lose my car insurance on the 20th and will lose phone and internet around the 15th and am getting threats to disconnect utilities soon after. I am also completely broke and have been eating gifted food which will run out in a few days. I was raised to never ask for help but I can’t hide behind my pride anymore. If you are able to help ...
