Help Mary Ann with medical bills due to cancer

Hi - my name is Joyce Leonard and I am trying to help Mary Ann Starks. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer earlier this year. She has been going to Moffitt Cancer in Tampa, Florida for treatment. She has to drive 159 miles (one way) for this treatment. Sometimes she can stay with a friend but sometimes she has to stay in a hotel. The treatment process takes several days at a time. So not only does she have the copay for medical expenses she has costly travel expenses. She has had engine problems on her car, also causing additional expenses. She has worked for the State of Florida for over twenty years. During many of these years I supervised her. She was always one of the first to volunteer to help, either personal or work related. She is always willing to help others. Her job with the State requires putting a LOT of miles on her car as a group home monitor. She has always worked two jobs to survive. She had to quit the second job quite a while ago, due to health issues. She has also had to take time off because of the medical appointments, treatments and then when she has been sick from the treatments. Yet if she is feeling somewhat better she tries to work. At this time she seems to be beating the cancer but as we know it is a long expensive process. We would appreciate any donation you can give at this time, or next month or the month after but do not put it off too long as she is in need now and can use all the help possible.
